Quick question about search & filter

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

So I have a search bar working perfectly fine for gym exercices, and I would like so buttons on top/on the side of my page (maybe a pop up) which would automaticly filter something. If clicked it will search for back exercices (which is a categorie in my API) and have multiple search options, so I could search for Back and Legs exercices.
I hope I was clear enough. Thank you for your help guys =)

Hi , have you tried using remote actions? You could have different GET requests returning specific data, with some filters. For instance, a GET request returning the leg exercises, another request returning back exercises, and so on. Then, you could bind those requests to remote actions associated to different UI elements, such as buttons
