Third level of API?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

Hi! I have a three-level user flow in my app:

  1.  List of recipes (populated with API List)
  2. Recipe detail page (populated with API detail)
  3. Walkthrough steps with cooking instructions. (How to populate with API?)

On the detail page user can choose to open a walkthrough steps. Is it possible to populate these steps via API list? The problem is that this list should relate to the chosen recipe detail page. (Screenshot attahced). As I understand there are only two levels of API – List and Detail, that relates to the item chosen in list. And in my case I need somewhat third level I guess.

Hi ! You can combine the list/detail pages as you wish - in fact, you can also create lists inside "detail pages". You just need to bind those screens and their associated requests, so the variables you use in the API requests (for instance, ${id} in the URL of a detail request) are populated with the correct data. So yes, you can create more than two levels :)

thanks! I will try to figure it out:) Do you think this can be done with Airtable or only with Xano?
