Web-view caching?

Archived from the Bravo community forum (2021–2026). Some answers may refer to older versions of Bravo.

In our news app we use the web-view solution for showing our complete article. (because it is more then just rich text) The list view of the articles is collected via rest api.

This solution is working fine, except for one thing. There seems some sort of caching in the web-view.. when we change some text (or style of the page via css) it is not vissible.

The text is after some hard closes most of the times changed, but the css even not.

The text is our biggest issue, especially when we made a typo or something.

The refresh functions of Bravostudio doesn’t do anything for the web-view. Is this a known issue or is there maybe a workaround?

Anyone else had experienced something like this?

Best regards,

Natanja

Hello! It could be that versioning is enabled in Bravo Studio. When you refresh Bravo, it only updates the figma files. There are 3 dots next to the troubleshoot button. After clicking on it you have to click the “versioning” button. Then click “Publish Changes”. This is so you can work on your app without having to go live while you work. Hope this helps!
